Sweet Romances

Lexi is really rock ’n’ roll royalty. Nick performs in a tribute to her dad’s band. Will their “secret identities” keep them apart?

If Lexi Jones ever hears the song “Xandra” again, it’ll be too soon. Her father’s ballad was a big hit for the rock band Silver Tongue when she was little, but now Lexi is in her thirties. She’s ready to put that past behind her, striving to make partner at her law firm, and absolutely not looking for love.

Until she meets Nick Gregory. Talented, dark and handsome, Nick has a musical side gig on an upswing. Nick knows it can’t last and one day soon he’ll have to grow up, settle down and quit the band. But Lexi doesn’t know Nick’s hobby involves dressing up as her dad and his friends as part of a Silver Tongue tribute band.

Lexi and Nick make beautiful music together — literally — but can their fledgling relationship withstand the truth about who they really are?

About the author

Diana Davis comes from a family that enjoyed singing so much they had to ban it at the dinner table to get the kids to eat. At the age of seven, Diana began studying piano, later learning flute, guitar, ukulele and, after writing her first sweet rock’n’roll romance, bass guitar. She has performed with a group during fireworks (and not the metaphorical kind) as well as solo in front of an audience of over one thousand.

Diana has been writing since she was a teenager. She makes her home with her husband and children in the Rocky Mountains, who are all allowed to sing at the dinner table (and everywhere else).
